Please stick to the rivers and [Great] Lakes that you're used to.
But Dad ain't no scrub, he hit the pavement running after a nice rest day with legs that are probably more sore than they were on Saturday and some sunshine. So much for TLC.

From Dad:
"Warm today. Temps up to 81. And, boy, I was feeling it. Mostly flat riding today. A hill or two here and there. But, really, nothing exciting to talk about. We crossed into the Eastern time zone shortly after starting today, so that lost us an hour. Rode 54.5 miles today in 5:20."
After the ride, mom and dad found their hotel, which would have been right at home in the middle of bear country. OH WAIT.

According to the owner, Bear Season is busy season, and that hot plate is prime real estate. I bet you two bucks that dad was singing "Elmer Jones" all day.
"...After showering we went to a couple of gorgeous waterfalls, Bond Falls and Agate Falls. We could only see Agate Falls from above, but Bond was really impressive."
Today ended at Trout Creek, MI, at 54.5 miles. Sometimes it's ok to chase waterfalls.
