What has four eyes but can't see?
Ooh! Let me guess!
A bat with glasses
A spider in the dark
Newborn twins
Four needles?
A blind support society unanimously voting in a fifth member.

Nope, MISSISSIPPI; and dad, riding in humidity.

But, in reality, this week it's more like Mississ-iss-iss-iss-issippi for the number of times he's crossed it.

From Dad:
"Give me a day with no headwind (even a small tail-breeze), relatively flat terrain, and see what I can do! 61 miles in 5 1/4 hours. It was still raining in Bemidji this morning, but 40 miles east in Bena, it was only cloudy. A couple of times it rained lightly for a few minutes--just enough to keep me cool. Very humid today. The shoulders were wide, but bumpy. My backside took quite a beating! "
That ain't the first time, amirite, Dad?
"After we finished, we took a side trip to Hibbing, where my brother served as a missionary, then back around to Deer River to our motel for tonight. In my daily route maps, I omitted the segment from Deer River to Grand Rapids in my mileage calculation. Nevertheless, I have completed all but about 15 miles of tomorrow's scheduled ride. Duluth has a high chance of rain, so we will see how the weather holds for us, and if we can make it that far..."
(Researcher's note, Mile Marker 203 hits at Swan River, MN, so that's where I've marked on the map.)
A sign that's likely worth the city's full GDP.
I wonder if "hibbing" is a verb for the hobbies of the rural residents.

This cabin has more quilting talent than I do.

And a cool Bird's nest, Bird included! (Here you go, Mason.)

That makes 200 miles accomplished in Minnesota! Way to go, Dad! (We'll ignore your helmet hair.)

He color-coordinated today.
