Tailwind, flatland. This is the way riding should be. By the time we got everything packed in the car, left Cardston, crossed back into the U.S. and drove to Browning, it was 9:20 when I started riding. But I had a tail wind of 10-15 MPH most of teh way--sometimes it became more of a sidewind--but it was never in my face. There were only a couple of steep hills which weren't very long. Most of the hills had gentle grades. With the help of a tail wind I took many of them in highest gear. Stopped for lunch at a park in Cut Bank around noon after 35 miles, and finished the ride at 2:25. 59 miles in 5 hours, including lunch. It's so nice not to hurt anywhere. The 2 days off really helped.
