"Left Gasser's house at about 8:30. It took much longer than expected to get to Cape Flattery. Stopped in Port Angeles and replaced rear tube on bike, found a place to camp, then drove on a very windy, narrow road to Neah Bay. Linda was very concerned for my safety on Highway 112. Rode from Neah Bay to almost 3 miles past the junction on 112 and 113. Riding along the Strait was a dream come true. Rolling hills for 25 miles or so, then headed inland and got on a long, fairly steep hill. Rode until about 8:30. Covered 33.9 miles in 2:50. Still a couple of miles to go to the top of the hill tomorrow."
